Carlos Pena and Kosuke Fukudome hit home runs, Carlos Zambrano threw six solid innings for his first home win of the season and the Chicago Cubs beat the New York Mets 9-3 on Thursday to complete their first series win at Wrigley Field in more than a month.

The Cubs, who improved to 11-14 at Wrigley Field, had not won a series at home since taking two of three from San Diego from April 18-20. They have beaten the Mets in eight of the past 11 meetings at Wrigley, including two of three in the series.

Mets starter R.A. Dickey left with two outs in the third inning because of pain in his right heel. Dickey stumbled and fell while running to cover first base. After being checked out by the training staff, he limped off the field and was replaced by Pedro Beato.

Zambrano (5-2), who was winless in his first four home starts at this season, changed that by allowing just two runs (one earned) over six innings.
