Rockies 1, Dodgers 0: Juan Nicasio struck out seven in 5 1/3 innings and Nolan Arenado delivered an RBI double as visiting Colorado ended Zack Greinke's unbeaten streak at 11 games.

Nicasio (9-9) allowed three hits and won for the first time since Aug. 26 after going 0-3 in his previous five starts. Greinke (15-4), tuning up for his Friday assignment in the National League Division Series, allowed one run and four hits while striking out seven in six innings to lose for the first time since July 25 after eight victories.

Colorado's Todd Helton went 0-for-4 in the penultimate game of his 17-year career. Four Rockies relievers bridged the gap to Rex Brothers, who completed the three-hitter by recording the final five outs to earn his 18th save in 20 chances as the Rockies won their first 1-0 game of 2013.

The Rockies had a runner reach second base for the first time in the series when Jordan Pacheco led off the third inning with a single and advanced on Jonathan Herrera's groundout. Colorado broke through in the fourth as Troy Tulowitzki doubled with one out and Arenado doubled him home two batters later.

The Dodgers threatened in the sixth inning by loading the bases with one out before Adam Ottavino got Juan Uribe on a foul pop and Scott Van Slyke to fly out to right.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Colorado's Michael Cuddyer, who is hitting .333, sat out Saturday's game and leads Atlanta's Chris Johnson by a seemingly insurmountable 12 points in the NL batting title race. ... Los Angeles, which is the No. 3 seed in the NL playoffs, started only three regular position players - SS Hanley Ramirez, 1B Adrian Gonzalez and C A.J. Ellis. ... Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig, who left Friday's game after fouling a ball off his shin, struck out on three pitches as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning.
