Marcus Thornton scored a career-high 42 points and Samuel Dalembert had a career-high 27 points and 16 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings emphatically ended a six-game losing streak with a 129-119 victory over visiting Golden State on Monday night.

A determined Sacramento team went on a 19-0 run early in the first to take a 19-3 lead less than five minutes into the game and increased it to 35-16 after the first quarter.

Golden State (30-37), behind 10 points from Stephen Curry, rallied to trail 71-59 at halftime, but the Kings never let the Warriors back in the game.

Sacramento (16-49), rumored to be moving to Anaheim among other places, looked right at home in scoring a regulation season-high and shooting 56.6 percent.

Thornton finished 13 of 20 from the field and made 12 of 14 free throws.

Thornton scored 26 first-half points on 9-of-12 shooting. Dalembert had 19 points and 10 rebounds - career bests - in the first half. DeMarcus Cousins finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Reserve Al Thornton led Golden State with 23 points. Curry scored 19, Dorell Wright 18 and Monta Ellis had 15 points and nine assists.
