Pistons 108, Trail Blazers 101: Brandon Knight recorded 16 of his season-high 26 points in the first half as host Detroit benefited from seven players scoring in double figures to snap its 12-game losing skid to Western Conference opponents.

Greg Monroe had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Kyle Singler posted his first career double-double with 16 and 10 for the Pistons, who held a 56-36 edge in points in the paint.

LaMarcus Aldridge returned after a one-game absence to score 12 of his season-high 32 points in the third quarter. Rookie Will Barton came off the bench to score 12 points - which was one more than his season total - as the Trail Blazers fell to 0-2 on their current seven-game, 11-day road trip.

Jason Maxiell's emphatic dunk extended Detroit's lead to 11 at 75-64 in the third quarter and forced the exit of Jared Jeffries, who was hit in the face by an elbow. Jeffries returned in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Barton sank an 18-foot jumper to bring Portland to within seven at 82-75 early in the fourth quarter, but Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villanueva drilled 3-pointers to highlight an 11-3 run to seal the victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Aldridge, who missed Sunday's loss to Brooklyn with a balky back, scored at least 30 points for the 25th time in his career. ... Singler set a career high by collecting eight rebounds in the first half. ... The Pistons have won just two of their last eight meetings with the Trail Blazers.
