Suns 93, Clippers 88: Goran Dragic had 24 points and eight assists as host Phoenix improved to 2-0 under interim coach Lindsey Hunter.

Marcin Gortat added 15 points and eight rebounds and Luis Scola had 14 and nine boards as Phoenix dealt Los Angeles its third consecutive defeat and halted a four-game home losing streak.

Jamal Crawford scored 21 points and Eric Bledsoe added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, who were without All-Star point guard Chris Paul for a second straight game due to a bruised right kneecap.

Los Angeles trailed by double digits in each of the first two quarters but got 11 points from Crawford in the third quarter to cut the deficit to two entering the final 12 minutes.

Scola scored nine points in the fourth and sparked a 6-0 run to push the lead to 86-79 with 3:00 to play. The Clippers got within a point on Crawford's 3-pointer from the left corner with 26.9 seconds left, but a clear-path foul on Caron Butler allowed the Suns to ride out the game at the free-throw line.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Paul has missed five of the last seven games after aggravating his knee injury against Golden State on Monday. There is no timetable for his return. ... F Markieff Morris had 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Suns, who lost two games to the Clippers by a combined 44 points this season. ... F Blake Griffin had 12 points and eight boards for Los Angeles, which lost for the 11th time in 12 meetings in Phoenix.
