Kings 120, Jazz 109:
Isaiah Thomas scored 25 points and Marcus Thornton added 24 off the bench as host Sacramento snapped a four-game slide.

Jason Thompson scored 21 points and all five starters reached double figures for the Kings, who had been off since losing at Utah on Monday.

Alec Burks scored a career-high 24 points and Al Jefferson had 16 as the Jazz fell to 9-18 on the road. Utah, which lost to Chicago on Friday, has dropped back-to-back games for the first time a three-game slide to close December.

Both teams shot better than 55 percent in the first half but Sacramento began the second quarter with a 15-2 run to turn a two-point lead into a 46-33 edge. The Jazz battled back with their own 13-2 run but had to settle for a 62-54 deficit at the break after Thomas picked off Jamaal Tinsley and drove for a layup at the buzzer.

Utah managed two field goals in the first 6:40 of the third quarter and the Kings took advantage, pushing the lead to 77-58. The Jazz would get as close as nine points early in the fourth before Thomas scored seven points in a 12-2 burst and Sacramento coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Kings improved to 13-12 at home. They will host Houston on Sunday before heading back out on the road for seven of the next eight. … Burks’ previous career best was 18 points against Portland in the regular season finale last spring. … Utah kept it from becoming a blowout thanks to 35 points off 17 Sacramento turnovers.
