Tyrae Robinson's jumper with 4 seconds left in overtime gave Ball State a 79-77 victory over DePaul on Saturday.
Jarrod Jones scored a team-high 17 points and Jesse Barry added 15 for the Cardinals (5-3), who shot 53 percent from the field.
Ball State led 36-33 at the break, and stretched it to 43-33 early in the second half before the Blue Demons (3-6) began to crawl back into it. DePaul tied the game 50-50 with 9:47 left, but could never take control.
DePaul took a 65-63 lead when Tony Freeland drained a jumper with 3:09 left. The teams would trade the lead four more times before Jones sent the game into overtime when he made the first of two free throws with 3 seconds left.
Brandon Young scored a game-high 23 points for DePaul.
