Nebraska used its stingy defense to rack up its 10th straight victory.
Jorge Brian Diaz scored 13 points and the Cornhuskers held another opponent down with its defense in a 68-48 non-conference victory over Savannah State on Wednesday.
Diaz was the only Cornhusker to score in double figures as Nebraska has held its last four opponents to less than 50 points. The Cornhuskers have not allowed more than 60 points to any team during their winning streak, their longest since the 1994-95 season.
The Cornhuskers (12-2) shot 56 percent from the field while limiting the Tigers to 30 percent.
Cedric Smith scored 14 points for Savannah State (2-16), which was 5 for 26 from 3-point range and fell to 0-13 on the road.
