Josh Selby collected 17 points, five rebounds and five assists as No. 6 Kansas bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 82-78 triumph at Colorado on Tuesday.
Marcus Morris finished with 15 points and Brady Morningstar added 14 for the Jayhawks (19-1, 4-1 Big 12), who had their 69-game home winning streak snapped by Texas over the weekend but beat Colorado for the 14th straight time.
Kansas took a 43-39 edge into the break thanks in part to a 20-9 rebounding advantage. Both teams shot well in the opening period, with the Jayhawks draining seven 3-pointers and Selby scoring 15 points to forge the slim lead.
Kansas led by as many as 10 points on four separate occasions in the second half, but Colorado did not fold, pulling to within 75-72 when Marcus Relphorde capped an 11-4 burst with a 3-pointer at the 2:46 mark.
The Buffaloes drew within two points twice in the final minute, but Marcus Morris hit two free throws with 16 seconds left and Markieff Morris blocked a shot at the other end to keep the Jayhawks clear.
Alec Burks scored 25 points for Colorado (14-7, 3-3).
