JaMychal Green scored 20 points to lead SEC West-leading Alabama to a 70-46 victory over visiting LSU on Saturday.

Tony Mitchell added 14 points for the Crimson Tide (13-7, 5-1 SEC), who have won three straight and nine of 10, and are making a case to be the lone NCAA at-large bid from the West.

The Tigers (10-11, 2-4), meanwhile, will be lucky to make the NIT as they suffered their fourth straight blowout loss.

Andre Stringer scored 13 points and Matt Derenbecker added 10 for LSU, which had lost its past three games by a combined 87 points. The Tigers got back leading scorer Ralston Turner, who missed the last four games with a foot injury, but it mattered little.

Alabama led 29-22 at the half, and the Crimson Tide made quick work of the Tigers in the second half. Trever Releford capped an 11-3 run with a layup that made it 43-32 with 12:57 remaining, and later, a 13-5 run put the game away.
