Tony Mitchell scored a career-high 27 points and Alabama clinched at least a share of the SEC West title with a 69-56 victory over visiting Arkansas on Saturday.

Trevor Releford had 17 points and JaMychal Green scored 16 for Alabama (18-8, 10-2 SEC), which improved to 14-0 at home and avenged last month’s 70-65 loss to Arkansas by closing the game on a 25-7 run.

Alabama, which entered with the sixth best defense in the nation, scored 23 points off 18 Arkansas turnovers.

Rotnei Clarke scored 21 points for the Razorbacks (16-10, 5-6 SEC West), who led 49-44 with just under 11 minutes to play before being dismantled by the Crimson Tide's league-best defense.

Mitchell had 13 points in the first half, including an offensive putback in the waning seconds that tied it at 31. Arkansas was led by Clarke, who hit three 3-pointers in the opening half en route to 14 points.
