The Fighting Irish (7-0) ended strong, holding the Badgers (4-2) to just five points over a nine-minute span and riding a 26-8 run to the finish.

Notre Dame needed double overtime to get past Georgia on Thursday before defeating California on Friday, during which it held the Golden Bears to an even colder spell than the Badgers – just five points for the entire first half.
