Isaiah Thomas had 12 assists and 10 points to lead Washington past Oregon 69-51 Friday in the semifinals of the Pac-10 tournament in Los Angeles.
The Huskies (22-10) will meet No. 15 and top seed Arizona in Saturday’s final.
Washington held Oregon to 32 percent shooting and controlled the paint with a 39-31 rebounding advantage. Oregon struggled from the outside as it shot 4 of 24 from 3-point range.
Joevan Catron scored 18 points for the Ducks (16-17).
Washington used an 11-5 run over the last six minutes of the first half to take a nine-point lead at halftime. Washington held a 13-point advantage with 14:54 left, but the Ducks stepped up their defense and held Washington scoreless for a five-minute stretch to close the deficit to 44-40.
But that was as close as the Ducks would get as C.J. Wilcox scored four points to key an 11-3 run to put the game out of reach.
Wilcox scored 14 points and Terrence Ross added 13 for Washington, which only had eight scholarship players in uniform.
