Sean Kilpatrick scored 21 points to lead six players in double figures and host Cincinnati rolled to a 95-60 victory over winless Chicago State on Friday.
Cincinnati (9-3) never trailed in winning its fourth straight game. The Bearcats led 27-20 midway through the first half before scoring 14 straight points. Cincinnati used a 21-4 run to close out the half and took a 48-24 lead into the locker room.
The Bearcats fell five points short of scoring 100 points in three straight games for the first time in school history. Cincinnati hit a season-high 16 3-pointers and has made 55 shots from beyond the arc during its winning streak.
Cashmere Wright added 14 points for the Bearcats, who have won all four games since three players were given six-game suspensions for their actions in a brawl against Xavier on Dec. 10.
Chicago State (0-13) was led by Jeremy Robinson with 18 points, including 16 in the second half. The Cougars committed 19 turnovers, which led to 23 points for the Bearcats.
