Xavier Johnson led five scorers in double figures with 14 points Sunday, lifting host Indiana to a 73-60 win over Minnesota in Bloomington, Ind.

Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis collected 13 points and 12 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. Rob Phinisee scored 13 points, Parker Stewart added 12 and Race Thompson chipped in with 10 for the Hoosiers (12-3, 3-2 Big Ten), who improved to 11-0 at home this season.

Jamison Battle scored 19 points, Payton Willis added 18 and E.J. Stephens had 12 points for Minnesota (10-3, 1-3).

The Gophers struggled throughout the game, shooting just 38.3 percent from the field and 20 percent (5 of 25) from 3-point range.

Minnesota rallied from a 12-point deficit in the second half, taking a 47-46 lead on a driving basket by Battle with 12:25 remaining.

Indiana regrouped by getting the ball inside.

After Battle banked in a 3-pointer to cut the Indiana lead to 55-54, the Hoosiers pulled away with a 10-0 run, with Thompson scoring six of the points on three inside baskets.

Indiana shot 46.7 percent from 3-point range in the first half, making 7 of 15 to build a 39-29 halftime lead. Phinisee scored 12 points off the bench in the first half, while Johnson had 10 points.

Jackson-Davis faced double-teams throughout the first half and didn't score his first basket until the 10:37 mark.

From there, Indiana steadily built its lead. Phinisee's third 3-pointer of the first half put the Hoosiers up 31-27, and his fourth extended Indiana's lead to 34-27.

After Stephens hit a runner for Minnesota to cut Indiana's lead to 34-29, the Hoosiers got a 3-pointer from Johnson. Johnson then closed out the half with a pair of free throws.

Minnesota shot just 39.4 percent from the field in the first half (13-for-33) and went 2 of 13 from 3-point range.
