Tiger-Cats 34, Argonauts 20: Jeremiah Masoli threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns as visiting Hamilton cruised past Toronto to grab a share of first place in the East Division.

Masoli went 21-of-30 through the air and John White rushed for 52 yards as the Tiger-Cats (8-7) notched back-to-back wins to catch the Ottawa Redblacks at the top of the division. Brandon Banks hauled in eight passes for 178 yards and a touchdown while Luke Tasker added four receptions for 63 yards and three TDs for Hamilton, which swept the season series with Toronto.

James Franklin completed 22-of-37 passes for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his first start since July 21 for the Argonauts (3-12), who have dropped seven straight games. S.J. Green made seven catches for 127 yards and a touchdown while Brandon Burks accounted for 94 yards from scrimmage with a TD for Toronto, which was eliminated from the playoffs last week.

Lirim Hajrullahu drilled a 45-yard field goal and Tasker caught a 4-yard touchdown pass to help Hamilton jump out to a 10-3 lead before Burks turned a short pass into a 17-yard TD to even the score. Masoli fired a 17-yard touchdown pass to Banks to put the Tiger-Cats back on top by seven and Frankie Williams had a long punt-return TD negated by an illegal block as Hamilton was forced to settle for an 18-10 edge at halftime.

Masoli found a wide-open Tasker in the back of the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown and the duo connected again on 48-yard scoring strike to put the Tiger-Cats in total control 31-10. Drew Brown delivered a 21-yard field goal before Hajrullahu answered by converting a 27-yard attempt to restore Hamilton's 21-point advantage and the Tiger-Cats cruised the rest of the way to set up a pivotal home-and-home set with Ottawa.
