Eskimos 39, Lions 23: Trevor Harris threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns as Edmonton erased a double-digit deficit to beat visiting BC and spoil Mike Reilly's return to Commonwealth Stadium.

Harris completed 25-of-33 passes to go along with a rushing TD for the Eskimos, who improved to 2-0 this season. Greg Ellingson hauled in nine passes for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns while C.J. Gable added 111 yards on 23 carries for Edmonton, which stretched its home winning streak against BC to seven games.

Reilly spent the previous six seasons in Edmonton and was limited to 149 yards on 14-of-27 passing with a touchdown for the Lions, who surrendered seven sacks. Duron Carter made six catches for 42 yards and Lemar Durant finished with a TD reception for BC, which was penalized 10 times for 129 yards.

Reilly threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Durant and Sergio Castillo kicked three field goals (30, 25 and 36 yards) to help the Lions jump out to a 17-3 lead. Edmonton stormed back with 17 straight points as Sean Whyte drilled a 46-yard field goal before Harris fired scoring strikes to Tevaun Smith (6 yards) and Ellingson (three) to take a 20-17 advantage into intermission.

Harris scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak to put the Eskimos in front 27-20 before connecting with Ellingson for a 54-yard TD on the last play of the third quarter to extend their advantage to 11. BC conceded a safety and Whyte tacked on a 27-yard field goal with 6:01 remaining in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring.
