Natey Adjei hauled in four passes for 106 yards and a TD while DaVaris Daniels finished with four receptions for 53 yards and a score in his season debut after missing the previous three games with an undisclosed injury for Edmonton, which held BC to 177 yards of total offence.

Mike Reilly was limited to 157 yards on 17-of-26 passing for the Lions (1-4), who have surrendered 12 sacks in two meetings with the Eskimos in 2019. Bryan Burnham caught four passes for 69 yards while John White accounted for 72 yards from scrimmage for BC, which has dropped six of its last seven games dating back to last season.

Sean Whyte (31 yards) and Sergio Castillo (52) traded field goals before Harris scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak to put the Eskimos on top 10-3 after one quarter. Whyte tacked on two more field goals, including a 47-yarder with 2:49 remaining in the second, to stretch Edmonton's lead to 16-3 at intermission.

Adjei turned a screen pass into a 77-yard touchdown on the opening possession of the second half and Daniels made a diving 28-yard TD catch as the Eskimos entered the fourth quarter with a 30-3 advantage. BC settled for a 29-yard field goal by Castillo with 9:16 left after Reilly had a touchdown run wiped off the board due to a holding penalty and Edmonton wasn't threatened the rest of the way as it notched its first road win since July 26, 2018.
