Roughriders 38, Lions 25: Cody Fajardo threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as host Saskatchewan pulled away in the second half to down BC.

Fajardo finished 17-of-23 for 278 yards and rushed for a team-high 53 yards for the Roughriders (2-3), who have not lost to the Lions in Regina since Oct. 29, 2016. Shaq Evans registered a career-high 158 yards and a score on five catches after getting shut out in his last game while Kyran Moore made five catches for 63 yards and a TD as Saskatchewan finished 2-1 on its three-game homestand.

Mike Reilly passed for 346 yards, ran for 32 more and accounted for a pair of touchdowns for BC (1-5), which fell to 0-5 against West Division rivals in 2019 and will return to Vancouver to host the Roughriders in Week 7 before going on its bye week. Brandon Rutley churned out 73 yards on 13 carries while Bryan Burnham (eight catches, 106 yards) and Shaquille Johnson (four receptions, career-high 94 yards) each recorded big receiving performances for the Lions.

After BC answered a single from Saskatchewan with a 50-yard field goal by Sergio Castillo, the Roughriders pulled back in front when Fajardo escaped the pocket and found Moore open downfield for a 39-yard score. The Lions retook the lead on the second of two short field goals by Castillo and followed a Saskatchewan safety with a 1-yard quarterback sneak by Reilly with 40 seconds left in the second quarter before Marcus Thigpen took back the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown.

Castillo's fourth field goal of the game midway through the third quarter followed another single by Saskatchewan, but Fajardo's 4-yard TD on a zone-read run late in the period capped an 11-play drive and staked the Roughriders to 25-19 advantage. BC's next drive stalled around midfield and Saskatchewan took advantage when William Powell bowled his way into the end zone from 3 yards out before Evans capped his huge performance with a 50-yard TD catch with 3:55 remaining.
