Lions 40, Redblacks 7: Mike Reilly threw for 353 yards and a pair touchdowns as visiting BC trounced Ottawa to post back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Reilly completed 21-of-27 passes while John White rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown for the Lions (3-10), who beat the Redblacks 29-5 eight days ago. Shaq Johnson caught three passes for a career-high 160 yards and a TD while Bryan Burnham made nine catches for 135 yards and a score for BC, which scored 40 points for the first time since Oct. 19.

Jonathon Jennings was limited to 121 yards on 8-of-17 passing before being pulled late in the third quarter by the Redblacks (3-10), who have lost six consecutive contests. Will Arndt was 6-of-11 for 61 yards and R.J. Harris finished with four receptions for 88 yards for Ottawa, which hasn't recorded a home win in more than three months.

BC conceded a safety before White rushed for a 7-yard touchdown to put the visitors on top 7-2 after one quarter. Duron Carter threw a 67-yard touchdown pass to Johnson on a trick play to extend the lead to 12 points and Sergio Castillo kicked 28- and 18-yard field goals to give BC a 20-2 advantage at intermission.

Reilly threw a 14-yard scoring strike to Carter on the opening possession of the second half and Castillo converted a 42-yard attempt as the Lions pulled away 30-2. Burnham made a diving 14-yard TD catch and Castillo was good from 28 yards out as BC swept the home-and-home set with Ottawa by a combined score of 69-12.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Burnham surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the fourth consecutive season. … Carter has caught a touchdown pass in back-to-back games after being shut out in his previous 11 contests. … Redblacks RB Stefan Logan registered 172 return yards to move past Marvin Coleman (11,545) for fourth place on the CFL's all-time list. … Ottawa quarterbacks have an 8-to-23 touchdown-to-interception ratio in 2019. … Lions DE Odell Willis recorded the 100th sack of his career in the fourth quarter.
