Fajardo completed 18-of-28 passes and Evans gained a career-high 193 yards - 61 on the game's final TD - on seven receptions for the Roughriders (10-4), who led throughout for their ninth win in 10 contests. Brett Lauther booted four field goals and Naaman Roosevelt made five catches for 58 yards as Saskatchewan won two of the three games in the season series.

Chris Streveler was 26-of-40 for 254 yards but threw a pair of interceptions deep in Roughriders' territory in the second half as the Blue Bombers (9-6) lost their third straight game. Andrew Harris rushed for 67 yards, Darvin Adams hauled in eight passes for 109 yards and Nic Demski gained 70 yards on four receptions to lead Winnipeg.

Lauther connected on 49- and 48-yard field goals in the first quarter and Saskatchewan pushed the lead to eight points with two rouges in the second before Justin Medlock's 27-yard kick with one second left closed the gap to 8-3. Lauther booted a 21-yarder in the third quarter before A.C. Leonard's sack forced a fumble and Zack Evans recovered at the Roughriders 29 to foil the Blue Bombers' next drive.

Ed Gainey picked off a pass by Streveler at the Roughriders 17-yard line to end another Winnipeg threat late in the third, but a good punt return by Janarion Grant helped set up Medlock's 37-yard field goal with 13:30 remaining that cut the deficit to 11-6. Lauther increased the lead to eight with a 34-yard kick and LJ McCray intercepted Streveler at the goal line on the next drive before Shaq Evans took a short pass, slipped through a tackle and broke free for a touchdown with 2:43 left.
