Jamie Benn continued his hot streak with a pair of goals and Mike Ribeiro also scored twice as the Dallas Stars defeated the visiting Edmonton Oilers 4-1 Saturday afternoon.

Benn's fourth straight multi-point effort gave the Stars their third win in the past four games.

The Oilers, who may find themselves down another forward after Jordan Eberle suffered a knee injury in the first period, return home having earned just one victory on their marathon seven-game road trip.

While Dallas had the majority of the scoring chances, it was Edmonton which managed the only goal of the first period. Taylor Hall's initial shot was stopped by Kari Lehtonen but the rebound deflected the skate of defenseman Alex Goligoski and floated into the net.

The Stars responded with just over five minutes remaining in the second period, as Benn converted a pass from Trevor Daley for his third goal in as many games.

Benn evened things up seven minutes into the third, knocking home a rebound after Edmonton netminder Nikolai Khabibulin made the initial save on Adam Burish. Ribeiro then put the game away with 6:21 remaining, banking a shot from behind the red line off Oilers defenseman Josh Green and past Khabibulin.

Ribeiro added an empty netter in the final minute, capping his second straight two-goal game.

Eberle left the game after falling awkwardly. He went straight to the locker room and did not return.
