Jakob Silfverberg had a goal and an assist for the second consecutive game, and the Anaheim Ducks beat Arizona 3-1 on Tuesday in Glendale, Ariz., to snap the Coyotes' six-game winning streak.

Adam Henrique and Troy Terry also scored, and Ryan Miller made 22 saves for the Ducks, who won their second straight game against a team fighting for a Stanley Cup playoff spot. Anaheim topped the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 on Sunday.

Lawson Crouse scored, and Darcy Kuemper made 28 saves for the Coyotes, who fell three points back of the Minnesota Wild for the second wild card from the Western Conference.

Henrique gave the Ducks a 2-1 lead on a power play at 3:36 of the third period, deflecting a shot from the right circle by Rickard Rakell.

Terry made it 3-1 with another power-play goal at 11:15, finishing off an extended possession in the Arizona zone with a hard wrist shot.

For the second consecutive game, Silfverberg gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead within the first four minutes. He deflected a shot from defenseman Josh Manson at 3:52 of the first period, giving him six goals in the past 11 games and a team-leading 18 on the season.

The Coyotes did not have a shot on goal for nearly 7 1/2 minutes to start the game, and then they produced five during a five-on-three advantage that lasted 1:54.

They didn't get one past Miller until they were back at even strength, however.

The Coyotes took advantage of a late line change by the Ducks and had an effective attack down the right side. Josh Archibald dropped the puck for Crouse, who scored from the right circle at 18:32 of the first period.

Anaheim center Ryan Kesler played in his 1,000th NHL game, becoming the 333rd player to achieve that milestone and 49th born in the U.S. to do so.

Arizona defenseman Jason Demers returned after being out since Nov. 15 with a lower-body injury.

The Ducks played without forward Devin Shore, who sustained a bruised thigh against the visiting Avalanche on Sunday. Sam Steel, who was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on Tuesday, took his place in the lineup.
