Preview Roundups
March 10, 2019
Houston at Cincinnati 12:00 PM ET
No. 12 Houston has clinched at least a share of the American Athletic Conference regular-season title and the Cougars look to keep it all to themselves when they visit second-place Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. Houston assured itself the top seed in next week’s league tournament with a 90-79 win over SMU, along with 19th-ranked Cincinnati’s loss at Central Florida, on Thursday and tied the program record of 28 wins in the regular season (1967-68).
Rutgers at Indiana 12:00 PM ET

Indiana, which dropped 12 of 13 games from Jan. 6 to Feb. 22 to leave its tournament dreams on life support, look to continue making its case for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid when it hosts Rutgers on Sunday. The Hoosiers have won three consecutive games, including victories over No. 21 Wisconsin (75-73) and 11th-ranked Michigan State (63-62), to give themselves a glimmer of hope, and aim to stay in the mix for a spot in March Madness by avenging a 66-58 loss to the Scarlet Knigh

Illinois at Penn St. 12:00 PM ET
Despite having its NCAA Tournament hopes squashed with a 10-game slide to open Big Ten Conference play, Penn State has refused to roll over, winning six of its last nine games. After a thrilling victory at Rutgers, the Nittany Lions host Illinois on Sunday in the conference finale for teams desperate for a win to avoid first-round games in next week's conference tournament.
Connecticut at East Carolina 2:00 PM ET
Already shorthanded, Connecticut will be down yet another starter Sunday when the Huskies conclude the regular season at East Carolina. Both the Huskies and Pirates are among the bottom four teams in the American Athletic Conference and would need a miracle to reach the postseason.
Iowa at Nebraska 2:00 PM ET
Iowa coach Fran McCaffery wasn't overly pleased with the officiating the last time he was on the sidelines, and he was probably even less thrilled about his team's performance during his two-game suspension. The Hawkeyes attempt to end a season-high three-game losing streak Sunday when they visit Nebraska in search of a regular-season sweep of the Cornhuskers.
East Tennessee St. at Wofford 4:00 PM ET
Top-seeded Wofford puts its 18-game winning streak on the line Sunday when it plays No. 4 seed East Tennessee State in the semifinals of the Southern Conference tournament in Asheville, N.C. The No. 22 Terriers, who have won six of their last seven games by at least 11 points, routed Virginia Military Institute 99-72 in Saturday's quarterfinals and next meet one of the two teams that took them to overtime during their winning streak.
Wisconsin at Ohio St. 4:30 PM ET
Ohio State can finish no higher than seventh in the Big Ten standings but might have more to lose than No. 21 Wisconsin in Sunday's regular-season finale. While the Badgers are a lock for the NCAA Tournament, the Buckeyes are sitting precariously on the bubble and may need at least one more win to get in when the 68-team field is announced next Sunday.
