Preview Roundups
March 13, 2019
Chicago at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
The notion of the Toronto Maple Leafs being fatigued was a tired one in the eyes of Auston Matthews, who provided a scathing assessment of his team's performance in its last outing. After seeing his team surrender six goals for the second time in six games, Matthews wants to see more pep in the Maple Leafs' step on Wednesday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at Scotiabank Arena.
New Jersey at Edmonton 9:30 PM ET
The Edmonton Oilers have rejoined the race for a wild-card spot in the Western Conference with five wins in six games and look to take advantage of injury-depleted New Jersey when they host the Devils on Wednesday night. All-Star Leon Draisaitl extended his point streak to 14 games with an assist in the first period and added the game-winning goal in overtime to beat the New York Rangers 3-2 on Sunday as the Oilers improved to 7-2-1 in the last 10 contests.
NY Rangers at Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
Wins are coming few and far between for both the New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks, who are each playing out the string with 13 games remaining in the regular season. The Rangers have been much more competitive despite a slew of narrow losses as they continue a four-game road trip with a visit to Vancouver on Wednesday night.
